of Tisino Family Services is to break the cycle of recidivism by fostering the voices of vulnerable children,

Tisino Family Services empowers individuals with a practical approach that is sustainable.
Tisino Family Services builds on the foundation of children and families healthy everyday living. The
skills taught at TFS strengthen the whole self with therapeutic care. By listening and allowing the
common emotional expression of individuals, TFS then moves into a social support practice.
The goal of the social support is to create an atmosphere of trust. TFS clients then are encouraged to
decrease the deficiencies within themselves and their families as they build a sense of resilient
characteristics.
Tisino Family Services therefore, challenges our clients to use their skills to break the cycle of
recidivism and move forward into a positive living, lifestyle and FUTURE.
EXPERIENCE/APPROACH
Rion has over 18 years of experience providing mental health counseling services and other social work
support with youth, adults, and families from various cultures and populations. Rion Believes that it is
crucial to take an individual’s environment and cultural values into consideration when providing
counseling services. He believes that family, community, evidence-based and appropriate theoretical
models and other support networks can be essential to one’s therapeutic cognitive-behavioral therapy,
art-play therapy, Triple P frameworks, conflict resolution, behavior therapy, Systemic therapy,
psychoanalytic therapy, transactional analysis combined with solution-focused with a strength-based
perspective for optimum effectiveness.

Rion’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s of Social Work degree from Seattle University and
a Master’s of Social Work Degree with a Clinical Emphasis from Walla Walla University. He has also
completed the additional training hours (CEUs), and experience required to qualify as a Mental Health
Professional (MHP), Ethnic Mental Minority Health Specialist (EMMHS), a Child Mental Health Specialist
(CMHS) in the state of Washington and he has 11 Positive Protective Parenting (evidence-based family
therapy) accreditations that Rion can practice in 122 countries.
